We're pretty lucky here, most people are really friendly and we've made some good friends so for now it's all good. Perhaps you should get yourself a slice or two and if anyone asks, just say you figured it was your belated b'day cake, lol. Anyway hope your combined b'day with your friend will be better.. and I hope she gets the tickets, that should be fun. Good luck. Me, I'm pretty good thanks. :)

You take the written test when you're 15 or older and get a permit so you can be taught how to drive then after you turn 16 you can get your intermediate license which has a bunch of restictions and then when you're 18 you can get your full license without all the restictions.

Not to say that I don't miss some of the conveniences.. like decent music stores and easier access to various shopping needs but.. I don't miss the high crime rate, the feeling that you need to leave your home and car locked both day and night, the horrible traffic, the f-you attitude of so many people etc., those kinds of things I can happily give up, lol. You vacuumed on your birthday? and not even a cupcake? well that stinks big time... oh and Happy belated Birthday. x

I don't buy many cd's but that's mostly cause I'm picky (and at the moment a bit $$ challenged, lol). I've had my not so stellar moments buying what I now consider crap.. but we all do that from time to time.. but mostly I'm happy with my choices. I love the country but the lack of decent music stores does suck, however at least I DO have online ordering.. but anyway. I've been good and bad this week, it's been one of those weeks.. I'm hoping next week will be more 'good' than bad.
